Centaur Theatre’s season ends with the Quebec premiere of Bed and Breakfast written by Mark Crawford. The 2015 world premiere at the Thousand Islands Playhouse was an instant critical and box office success.

Moving out from urban Toronto to a quiet tourist town, Brett and Drew decide to convert a recently inherited family residence into a bed and breakfast. With dozens of caricatured characters all portrayed by the two actors, Bed and Breakfast is a touching comedy about “being out” in the country and the importance of finding a place to call home.

“Seeing Bed and Breakfast was a revelation. Not only is it funny, it’s deeply moving and full of surprises. (…) It’s a sweet story whit important messages about diversity and acceptance, illustrating that harmony can exist despite prejudice and people’s preconceptions can expand. (…)” said Centaur’s outgoing Artistic and Executive Director, Roy Surette.

Next shows: Matinées (1:00 pm & 2:00 pm) and Evenings (8:00 pm) until May 21th.
